From a background in sales including engineering, recruitment and telecommunications, in 2001 she joined Sundial Group as Business Development Manager, where her focus was the generation and introduction of new business.  Her ability to focus on the needs of her clients and understand the importance of delivering against these expectations soon saw her managing some of the group’s largest customers.  Her proactive approach to creating positive relationships with venues and partners allowed both Amy and SOS to grow a strong portfolio of venues and suppliers that can provide perfect solutions for clients.

By 2004 the business had grown significantly and to take it forward Amy took on the responsibility of General Manager of SOS.  Now, as a seasoned agency manager running a team of venue finders, she provides solutions for large international seminars and annual training programmes as well as product launches and smaller meeting requirements globally.  SOS places over 1,000 events and handles £5,500,000 worth of business each year.

In addition to the venue finding facility Amy has created strategic alliances with some of the industry’s leading events companies providing all the support her clients need for any conference management or teambuilding away-day.  Through her work with her clients and venues she has developed and presented a ‘Top 10 Tips’ guide and seminar for anyone booking a meeting or external event.  She is also an active UK chapter Board Member of the International Association of Conference Centres.
